Our first day here was pretty chill. It was raining in the morning so we had to wait a bit before we could go and explore the city but we didn’t mind it as it was still super warm. Being our first day here we had a lot to figure out and the most important thing being the public transport as it was our only way to get around in the city. Fortunately it wasn’t too bad and we were all set to explore the first city of French Riviera.

The first place we had to see was the beach of course and although it was reaally rocky, it still looked beautiful with the mountains and long coastline on the background. The view that never gets boring. The beach has a lovely promenade as well and it makes a perfect place for relaxing walks. Well.. actually not for us because the whole time we were in Nice, it was like 30ºC outside and it was quite hard to enjoy doing anything in this heat. But I wouldn’t change it because it’s something we never get in Estonia and I think the super warm weather is something that kind of makes a vacation.
Oh, and a little update – I actually got home yesterday but I wrote this post on Monday while still in Nice. We managed to lock ourselves out of our Airbnb and had a rather bad last evening haha. Anyway I forgot to publish this post thanks to the little situation 😀 .
