Overall, the city/country impressed me a lot! Still can’t believe that it can look so beautiful somewhere. And it was so clean, so polished and luxurious everywhere. Definitely want to go back there someday but I’m happy I could visit the place from Gossip Girl haha (Blair’s prince Louis Grimaldi heeeyy). Ok, I need to stop now before I’ll get too weird here. But yeah, if you’re ever in South of France or anywhere near, definitely go and visit Monaco because it’s one of those must-see places I’m telling you! Hope you enjoyed today’s travel post, talk to you soon! xx0
Ok, it’s been a month since we headed to France with my sisters and I’m still making posts about it. Who am I? 😀 But to be fair I didn’t want to make all the posts in a row and that’s why it’s all in rotation between the travel posts and just my usual stuff. And yeah, I know the last photos on my blog are from Nice but I wouldn’t consider it a travel post still. But today it’s gonna be all about Monaco – the most beautiful place I’ve ever been to!
We drove to Monaco on Sunday and it was a short half-an-hour train ride from Nice. We were a bit scared that maybe all the places would be closed but fortunately that was not the case, so if you happen to be in the same situation then I’m here to confirm you that you totally can visit Monaco on a Sunday haha. Anyway, the moment we stepped outside the train, I could feel that this place is something else since the train station looked so clean and nice. The view from the station’s window was absolutely stunning and me and my sisters were just in awe. Is this real??
We decided to explore the city on foot because we wanted to see and feel everything. It was a bit hard because it was like +27C and we were still not used to this heat but I think we managed quite well. We did actually drove by bus from the Monte Carlo Casino to the Old Town of Monaco because obviously that would have been to much to walk. So the first stop was the casino which we were so excited to see since it’s really famous from movies and stuff. Oh, and it was nice! The cars that parked in front of it were just siiick! But it was super cool there and people were taking photos everywhere and it was completely okay with everyone. Monte Carlo looked absolutely amazing and seeing all the world’s top cars was definitely a thing by itself.
We then headed to the Old Town from where we walked to the Prince’s Palace of Monaco. The place looked nice but the view was even better. Honestly, I could just spend day looking on the coastline and the ports of Monaco. Just stunning! There was a little garden that runs from the palace to the Oceanographic Museum of Monaco and it was so so beautiful. A lot of cactuses and other similar plants there. Plus the sea view! I think I’d spend most of my time there if I lived there. Hah, I wish! So we did visit the Oceanographic Museum too and it was cool! Seeing baby sharks and a lot of exotic fish was interesting but there were some fish that I just couldn’t look because there were so scary and gross. I’m a baby, I know 😀 .
