Ladieees, how excited are we for spring season?! I cannot believe that there’s finally some light at the end of this very long and dark winter tunnel. I love how exciting it all gets when the days are getting longer and brighter. Like a new life again! And of course, a new season means new trends and styles in the fashion scene. Isn’t that the best part?

Trends to seek
If you’re one of the girls who likes to stay up to date with the latest trends then this one’s for you! I’m definitely one to appriciate new styles, colors and new ways to experiment with clothes. So what’s to expect in 2020 spring fashion trends?
- Pastels
look for colors like sage, light yellow, baby pink and pastel blue - Mom jeans
this spring is the perfect time to wear more loose fitted jeans! - Jogger sets
matching sweat sets are SO in and what’s not to love about that - Denim and leather
when it comes to materials then these two will get you covered for the season
Of course, there are plenty of other trends that you will see in stores and that you can wear. Be it statement romantic sleeves, organza tops and dresses, matching sets, long dresses, statement sneakers etc. There are literally so many things to choose from and that’s what I love about fashion. You can always pick the right kind of trend for yourself. You don’t have to wear something that you see everyone else wearing but you can have your own take at new season items.

On the other hand, a new season doesn’t always have to mean buying new clothes. I mean, it’s not like it’s the first time it’s spring! 😀 There are definitely things you can wear every year. I’m wearing this waterfall camel coat that I’ve had for a few years now. But I still love it and I feel like it’s totally wearable every year. That’s why it’s actually good to think more cautiously when you are purchasing new clothes – is it something that you can wear for a long time or is it a very trendy item that will find its way to the bottom of your closet in a few months? If you lean more towards the first answer then I think you’re all good. Staying trendy doesn’t mean that you have to change out your closet every 3rd month! If anything I think that nowadays it’s “cool” when you wear something you bought five years ago.

Key pieces for a killer outfit
An outfit can really make or brake my day and that’s why I really appriciate those days when I manage to put together a killer outfit for myself. You know, something that makes me feel like I could rule the world. There’s an outfit like that for everyone, I’m sure of it! I have discovered that the best way to put together an outfit is to pick one central piece for your look first. That one star of the show. Then you can start adding some complementary items that go together with that one item and in the end you would not have to worry about how the things fit together. Of course there’s nothing wrong with experimenting and sometimes what you thought would look “wrong” can actually look really cool for other people.
The other HUGE thing is accessories because they have the ability to really transform a look into something magical! I am always blown away about how much more put together I look when I try to add more accessories to my outfit. It works every time! Definitely something I need to work on myself but I feel like it’s a secret weapon to every cool outfit. Even if those accessories are as easy as a set of rings or a simple necklace. They all add that extra spice! 🌶️🌶️

There are a lot of fun things you can wear in 2020 spring and I love how versatile fashion has become. So many trends to choose from but remember – the only thing that never goes out of fashion is being YOU. Go wild, experiment with different looks but stay true to yourself because nothing looks better on a woman than confidence! Talk to you soon! xx
